yuletide is so much fun! come to the dark side... come... coooookies... but for realsies if you decide you don't want to commit to writing for yuletide you should still hang around for the pinch-hit list and yuletide madness and new year's resolutions! my first yuletide fic was a NYR and it was a really stress-free way to ease into things. there is always that one prompt that looks like fun!
AYA IS THE FLUFFIEST I LOVE HER. augh the olympics (specifically Aya's cuddle session with Camille Abily) just flung me willy-nilly into this state of insane love for Aya Miyama even though I can't read Japanese so I'm pretty much incapable of scouring the internet for knowledge about her which is my usual MO. all I have is the gifs and the fact that Hope Crazy Eyes Solo is genuinely delighted to be with Aya even when Aya has just defeated her in a football match and is thus marked for death.
and Homare Sawa oh my godddddddd QUEEN OF EVERYTHING. this moment (http://youtu.be/EHt_EjgpNj0) ahahahahaha it kills me. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE A BAD GAME, I'M SO SAD. they're just such bros! and the height difference alone, jesus. (true x2 for Hope/Aya because Enormous And Crazy-Eyed/Tiny And Fluffy And Adorable is my kryptonite ahahahaha.) it's really hard to go back and find feels retrospectively and I only really started paying attention after the WPS collapsed so I'm kinda hamstrung in that respect but the bro-ness of Abby and Sawa is pretty overpowering. XD
