Hey, I made a vague squeal-y comment on rarelitslash, but I wanted to specifically comment that this in particular for being completely awesome. Your characterization of Catullus is, in my opinion, spot on. I love his drunken sense of humor.

My classical poet OTP is Vergil/Horace (Maecenas can come too), because I'm lame like that, but Catullus is always a good time.
