OH GOD, YES. I know exactly what you mean. After squeeing for so long at mardia's fic, I was like I WANT TO WRITE FIC TOO. Then I was horrified because, omg, writing formally and in that manner is so effin' hard and I could never hope to be on par with the fics that were out there.
