Aw. I really like the contrast between Pep's wistfulness and Mou's practicality (that I read as a kind of guardedness, IDEK), as well as their ease/straightforwardness with each other (with this wonderful exception: It wasn't often that anyone surprised him, but he wasn't about to let that force him into a misstep.).
This is my favourite: "You've always had the most extraordinary gift for finding beautiful things and breaking them to make them work better. They would have won for you but they wouldn't have been Barcelona."
And: "The best team," Jose corrected. "It isn't about us, after all." Pep was still laughing as he hung up. Haha, Pep's got your number, Mou.
