I would do the whole "italicize the meme" thing and all but literally the meme is "The 20 Stories of Mine You Should Read." let's overlook the breathtaking arrogance of my assumption that anybody should read any story of mine, let alone twenty of them, and get rocking on this. (my full list of fic that I'm willing to cop to having written is here, btw.) I don't know, I just feel like I never write anything but football rpf these days, and then tennis rpf before that, and while I'm definitely enjoying the experience of staying rooted in one main fandom, it's nice to remind myself of my fannish butterfly days.

The year is 2004 and the setting is Camp Nou: the coach is Frank Rijkaard, the president is Joan Laporta, and the midfielders are just a little bit psychic.
The writing is flawed, the timeline is iffy, the characterization is occasionally shaky, but goddamn I love the idea of this AU. I don't know why nobody had ever written psychic midfielders before but I'm proud of what I did with it. also, the entire concept is total emotional porn for me; I don't know about you, but people being forced into emotional (and physical) intimacy by psychic distress is a plot device I really love.
Clear Sunny Skies (On the Morning of the Apocalypse)
Twilight - Jacob/Leah, Jacob/Seth - PG-13
So it turns out imprinting doesn't work exactly the way everyone thinks it does.
Twilight fix-it fic! I needed to write it and I churned it out. it's old enough that I cringe at a few of the turns of phrase, but I still really like the basic conceit of the fic. Leah and Seth are clearly the only good thing to come out of those books.

Rafa spends the evening before Christmas Eve with his sister and his girlfriend, thinks about his future and calls Roger to talk things through.
I don't normally go the bittersweet route - I'm more into full-on sweet, possibly tooth-rotting - but this was a yuletide fic and that's what the recipient wanted. and I think it actually turned out really well. I'm really proud of the job I did with the female characters here, for what it's worth.
