i just read Not Ready, Sensei! and I am IN LOVE. With Kazuma Kodaka. And now I need to go buy Kizuna, because if it's even half as good as Not Ready, Sensei!, then it's amazing. It's so... meta. It's about a managaka for a boys love magazine who seems to fall in bed with random men every time he gets drunk - even though he says he's straight and has a girlfriend. His boss (boss? not quite sure... his senpai at least) is in love with him, and after he sleeps with his assistant, he finds out that his assistant is in love with his former boss. The plot-lines are so hilariously cliche - the uke who doesn't want to admit he's gay and the uke who doesn't want to tell his seme that he used to be an enormous h0-bag who would sleep with anything that moved. But it's WONDERFUL. The best scene is one where the main-character uke (the one who thinks he's straight) goes over to a female co-worker's house to ask for help with a yaoi plotline and gets sucked into helping her finish a doujinshi. SO META IT HURTS. When they're explaining why girls like yaoi... oh the inside jokes. I wish I got them all... >_>
GO READ IT. NOW. YES, NOW. (I'll let you guys read Kizuna after I buy it... probably on Thursday... manga is so fucking expensive... ~sulks~)
