sold my soul to jesus and since then I've had no fun

this is just to let you all know that I am finally coming to grips with the fact that I really, really need to get work done on my thesis and therefore won't be around much for a while. I'll probably still be reading my flist and I will definitely still be reading comment replies, because god knows I can't quit cold turkey, but I'm going to take tumblr and google reader and twitter off my toolbar and see if that helps. (I will ironically be assisted in this endeavor by the fact that my reaction to sporting disappointment is to go into lockdown mode and refuse to read about it until I feel better.) if you see something "safe" that you think I'll like (picture, article, silly youtube clip, whatever) feel free to link me! I'll probably be going crazy from deprivation by the end of the day. dear thesis: why you no write yourself? ;_;

I really hope I'll be back by then, but if not, I'm going to Rome in the second week of May to see aramley and hang out being classics nerds and watch some tennis (obligatory Vamos Rafa! goes here) and stuff my face with food, so the usual "keep me informed of fun goings-on" applies. (nobody's going to remember this post by the second week of May, are they. eh, I'll make another, it doesn't take that long.)
