not that it's unfair to ask them to scroll by the one het fic per month, but rather that it's unfair to intrude on their community space. a lot of people who aren't me use the fbslash comm and have for a very long time, and they are comfortable and happy there! it's like, idk, changing local laws. maybe it wouldn't change much, but you can't know how it would affect all the people who live there and they have a right to decide how to change their own home, or not. blah. overwrought simile is overwrought.
basically I just need a sacrificial lamb to do it for me. XD I very rarely regret not having a personal relationship with the mods, but... oh well.
