i don't think it's really the commitment to writing that intimidates me, but legit just the SIGNUP FORM haha. i will definitely hang around as a pinch-hitter though, since i've done that in the past no problem. but i don't know, MAYBE. the idea of having a chance to make SOMEONE ELSE write soccer ladies fic is very enticing.
AYA IS SO ADORABLE. it broke my heart watching her cry after the olympics final, so i'm just dwelling on the post wwc final hug session and hope telling her to go celebrate and be happy because she was SAD THAT HER COMPETITION LOST? i can't deal. that's a fic i want to write some day, just a series of post-loss interactions with different player mashups. that could be fun, and an easy excuse for hope totally enveloping aya in her arms because YES to the height/size differences. my kryptonite!
and OH MAN I HADN'T SEEN THAT VIDEO. ahaha abby, queen of my fucking heart. i take it you've seen this? because the bit over drinking "not as much as abby" KILLS ME. i have belatedly gotten into some of the wps (mostly the freedom and wny flash) and since magicjack was a total clusterfuck i've focused all my love on the freedom and i have an obscene amount of feelings about them considering they didn't even last the whole wps. but HUGS AND HIGH FIVES. and them hugging it out after the gold medal match, sigh. <3
