ahhhh yeah. I've been doing yuletide since before they moved to the AO3 so I'm very grateful for how much simpler things are now but I can definitely see how they could be intimidating. I hope you'll decide it's worth it, haha. but don't let me peer pressure you! I'm an awful enabler, all my friends will tell you. XD
Aya should never be sad ;_; she's so cute aughhhh. I WOULD LOVE TO READ THIS FIC. (lol you can tell I'm fixated because I immediately thought "oh hey three post-match conversations between hope and aya that would be the boston breakers game where hope got pissed that the home fans were yelling racist shit at aya the wwc and the olympics all set let's go~") AND YES SIZE DIFFERENCE IS THE BEST.
oh man that's the Japanese interview with both of them, right? I get weird second-hand embarrassment with Japanese interviews sometimes but I'll give it another go ;) if you dig up any interviews or what have you from the WPS era that are a good source of FEELS pass them along! I'm always interested in getting more background info, haha. (I have slightly mixed feelings about Abby because I'm pretty solidly Team Hope, but happy to learn!)
