I have her new CD - I sort of miss Dresden Dolls-era Amanda, though. =( the only song I really like on her solo album is Oasis. admittedly I haven't given the whole CD a thorough listen-through, but everything seems a litter slower and more ballad-y. I want fast angry embittered music!
I do have that cover - it was on one of the Postal Service EPs, as was a Shins cover of We Will Become Silhouettes, weirdly enough. the Postal Service is one of my guilty pleasures: I know they aren't exactly high art, but I just really like them! Nothing Better is one of my favorite songs. (on the theme of extremely bitter music...)
how have you been, sweetheart? there are all these British grad students in my department and they make me think of you!
