Jun. 10th, 2009 08:55 pmin order to claim a drabble from
aramley I must make an offering of my mad writing skillz. (the 'z' makes it ironic!) such is my love for
aramley that I will make this sacrifice of my ego and offer myself up upon the altar of public opinion! and stuff.
The first ten people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing / character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability. (Or don't. I don't really care. These things are like those chain letters we used to do in second grade, honestly.)
any pairing or character I have written before is fair game! (if you aren't sure what I've written before, I do not blame you because I am a fandom slut, but a list of my fic can be found right here. the formatting took a while so do take advantage of the shiny new directory!) at the moment my fannish efforts have mostly been concentrated on Temeraire and tennis RPS, but don't feel obliged at all to stick with them. you can even ask for something I've never written before if you know I'm in the fandom. I really like writing to prompts: go wild!
ps: if you don't comment a lot, haven't commented recently, we don't really speak, whatever, it doesn't matter. if you want a drabble, please comment! most of the people who read this journal are here to listen to me bitch about my rl, not for the fic: if you want fic, seriously, ask for it. you are in a minority.
ETA: 6 "drabbles" claimed, 5 written, 4 claims still available! you know, if anyone's interested.
for
aramley: excerpts from sweetheart vs. spitfire, et al. (Temeraire tennis AU)
for
6street: always better with someone you really love (Star Trek reboot)
for
bronze_ribbons: you can do better than me (I can't do better than you) (tennis RPS)
for
daughterofelros: four reasons Roger Federer wished the Japanese Davis Cup team would fall into a really deep hole (and one reason they weren't that bad after all) (tennis RPS / Prince of Tennis)
for
t_lyrical: tinker tailor soldier sailor (Temeraire)

Date: 2009-06-11 01:56 am (UTC)Please write me a Trek drabble. Pairing or character is up to you (but slash or gen, please, heterosexuality makes me break out in hives). I know you haven't written in Trek yet, but I also know that you totally want to.
ooooooh
Date: 2009-06-11 04:29 am (UTC)Tharkay. Oh, hello, predictable choice.
Or Laurence/Tharkay, and if you can mention/add Sara in somehow, that would be, omgyesdowant. Still, whatever you write, I will explode with glee. :B

Date: 2009-06-17 12:36 am (UTC)...may return to this prompt once the others are done. I feel there are depths of dementia yet to be plumbed.

Date: 2009-06-14 09:45 pm (UTC)let's see... I would like Kirk/Sulu.
If that's being difficult, then... Rafa/Rodger?
In other news, watched the first season of Pushing Daisies, and deem all statements you made in reference to the show to be totally true-- especially the visual stuffs!

Date: 2009-06-26 05:21 am (UTC)on the other hand, wouldn't it be a bit difficult to do all that running aroung, playing tennis and being extremely athletic during the day under bright bright sun if they were vampires?

Date: 2009-06-19 02:28 am (UTC)(* Majorly obsessed at the moment, so odds are I'll know quite a bit more by the end of Wimbledon. Which is a long way of saying that snarky in-jokes or obscure allusions are also cool by me, should you feel like indulging in such.)

Date: 2009-06-21 07:09 pm (UTC)ended up excluding Nando anyway, poor thing. let me know if you need spark-notes on any of the characters - I know Carlos Moya probably isn't on your radar, and David Ferrer might be too obscure. I love him though! he's wee and adorable. ~cuddles David~
