15 fics, about 45,450 words. clear trends: I write up to Christmas, then school gets really bad and the ficcage stops. although that might just be lack of shiny new fandom to get me going. oh, tennis. unexpected love match of my life.
My favorite story of this year: Only A Signal Shown, hands down. ridiculous amount of effort but it was so worth it.
My best story this year: Only A Signal Shown again? maybe Really Awkward Adulterous Lesbian Sex Is Better Than No Sex At All but I think the concept was better than the execution there.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: oh, man, Clear Sunny Skies. nobody reads it because anyone who would like it hates Twilight and anyone who likes Twilight would hate it. BUT I LIKE IT OK.
Most fun story: Excerpts From Sweetheart Vs. Spitfire. there are DRAGONS. and they play TENNIS. in between spasms of sanity, I had the time of my life writing that fic.
Hardest story to write: toss-up between Only A Signal Shown (Laurence POV is hard! and the language is all formal and full of semi-colons!) and You Can Do Better Than Me (I Can't Do Better Than You), because... that deserved its rating. awkward.
"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story: Clear Sunny Skies? I mean, Twilight slash.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: I Think I Heard That Line Once In A Beatles Song, because I started that fic as a Roger/Rafa shipper, and by the time I was done I knew Roger was never going to be what Rafa needed and clearly Novak was better for him. which is frankly not a good thing to realize about your OTP.
Biggest disappointment: that I didn't write more, maybe. no, actually that I didn't finish de.riv.a.tive, because I did have at least a few more installments I could have done before running out of juice.
Biggest surprise: how well Awkward Adulterous Lesbian Sex Is Better Than No Sex At All was received, I think. I wasn't entirely pleased with it when I turned it in, but I didn't think it was going to get any better (I am not exactly a pro at femmeslash) so I just submitted it. and then a couple of people really liked it, so, yay?
Most unintentionally telling story: Excerpts From Sweetheart Vs. Spitfire. it tells of my unconcealed lunacy.
Sexiest story: You Can Do Better Than Me (I Can't Do Better Than You). oh, wait, you didn't mean "story with the most sex in it"? my bad.
