ugh. well, Rafa seemed pretty chill in his post-match presser, so clearly I'm more upset than he is. but for serious, after Fed's epic meltdown earlier today (which I would have enjoyed if I didn't need him to kick Murray's ass) it's pretty much given that Muzz is going to win this goddamn tournament. and take Rafa's spot as No. 2. GOD DAMN IT. also, Nole lost, fml.

um, if Muzz does move to No. 2, is Rafa going to be seeded third at the U.S. Open regardless of how he does in Cincinnati? because, DNW. (although I guess the sole bright spot to that would be that he and Nole can't face each other before the final, so I could have a small shiny hope to nourish? still. DO NOT WANT.)

if I had known that my new fandom would treat me like this, I might have thought twice about diving in. DAMN YOUR HOTNESS, RAFA. please win Cincinnati. it will make me feel better.

I have never cared about Tsonga, but seriously, I hope he wins tomorrow as I have never hoped for a match result that didn't directly involve Rafa winning. anyone but Andy Murray ftw!
