ok, this is a computer-problem post. a plea for help from my tech-savvy friends. a goddamn HISSYFIT thrown because my computer won't do what i tell it to and i don't know why. so, yes. if you're neither tech-literate nor interested in hearing me shriek obscenities at my currently-obdurate-but-usually-obedient little iMac, i'd advise you to scroll on down.

i can't decompress files labelled .torrent.zip or .zip.zip and i don't understand what the difference is between that and a file labelled just plain .zip . I have StuffIt expander - can anyone recommend something that might work better, or suggest something (ANYTHING) that might help me get my askjhgdfj computer to work with me here? or maybe this is a PC-vs-Macs thing... stupid PCs ruining my life... why isn't everything mac-compatible?

umm... if i was you, i'd delete every single trace of the file, and then try again. it's probably corrupted. or maybe its just not compatible with your Mac. Some of the stuff inside the file might be from an incompatible program that you cant open because they dont exist on the Mac. but... i dont know that much... *retreats into shadows*

hee... I figured it out, actually! I had to rename the files as .torrent. silly computer... thank you, though!
