Just a note - LJ isn't being a jerk. LJ is being the victim of a concerted DDoS attack on their servers. (no offense intended - I realize that to say something is "being a jerk" is a common usage referring to it not working properly - but I've spent enough time reading feminist blogs lately to make it feel an awful lot like victim-blaming to me)

I feel very sorry for the Russian bloggers and I think it's shitty that someone is trying to take away their ability to speak freely, but honestly given how frequently the fuckups really are LJ's fault I'm not wasting any sympathy on our Soviet overlords, sry2say. but on the other hand it's not like I pay for their service so I guess I shouldn't complain! XD

I'm going to visit Anneke this weekend but I'm back after that! do you have my new phone #?
