the Hana Kimi drama is airing! and... so far, aside from Ashiya and Sano, I am highly displeased. if the school is supposed to choose its students based on their appearance, how come they're all BUTT UGLY? Nakatsu has the hair from hell and a huge nose, Sekime is... not pretty at all, and Namba-senpai looks like an uglier version of Domyouji - complete with ridiculous coiffure. Oguri Shun makes up for a lot, but not this much! and Umeda-sensei! ~cries~ WHYYYYYYYYY ARE YOU NOT HOT? and what the hell is up with the female president? I really don't remember that... although Tsukushi's dad from Hana Dan is Ashiya's homeroom teacher. ~hugs Makino-touchan~

however, it is Hana Kimi, so I'll keep watching and pray it improves. I haven't found a decent subber yet, but there's an ungrammatical version on veoh.

The principal's assistant makes me so happy because he's the crazy dad from Nobuta! :D And Horikata Maki and Oguri Shun can do no wrong. They make up for EVERYONE. I think the person who plays Nakatsu is a decent actor, albeit with a HUGE GIANT HONKER, but the overall feel of Hanakimi so far is kind of like...a weird spin-off version of HanaDan. YEAH OMG WTF DORM LEADER WHY ARE YOU LIKE AN UGLY VERSION OF DOMYOUJU. I think it'll get better, I guess? I like the two leads soooo much ;_; And their dorm rooms are WAY TOO NICE. OMG. I WANT A LOFT.

Although, have you noticed that Oguri Shun always gets typecasted to the quiet guy who sleeps a lot and with Big Sad Emo Past? Oguriiiiiiiii go back to your anger management days with Uchiiiiiiiii ;_________;

okay, maybe I'm losing track of stuff a bit... Senri and Sekime - who's who? is one of them "wave-boy"? I know one of them is the bitchy boy who wants in Namba's pants (and he looks SO wrong, but that trick with Namba's women was evil and perfect). And yes, their rooms are crazy huge! they get their own internal bathroom? WTF?

...not to poke a hole in your theory, but don't ALL boys in manga/dorama have a Big Sad Emo Past? ~snickers~ Uchi tried to be all tough, but secretly he hugged puppies! it's all a front!

There was one bit, I think, where the principal said something along the lines of "What am I saying/do I mean/they saying, etc." anyway, it had something to do with comprehension and I was just like, "I have no idea...."
