3) you are my oldest friend and we can still fangirl at each other for hours like we're back in fourth grade. we have so much shared history and we practically grew up together - you really are the sister I never had. ~hugs~

1) you're an incredibly strong person. I'm so proud of you.
2) I've known you how long? I can remember eating icing out of the can with you in Lizzie's attic, reading Draco Dormiens in your mother's classroom, refusing to swim with you at Assateague many, many years in a row. we've got history, sister!
3) you are so generous with your friendship and your friends. you took me into your family and made me feel welcome, and even though I spend a lot of time being the only single person in the room, you never make me feel like a third (or fifth, or seventh...) wheel.
