haha no I'm ok with letting it pass me by. I always used to joke that Barcelona fans were the hipsters of slash fandom because the only pleasure to be gotten out of it was how fucking obscure your OTP was (Messi/Villa has rendered this joke only slightly less accurate, lol), but it applies equally to any relatively-unknown corner! Germans are not hipsters, but people shipping outside the 2006 NT, Bayern and RM guys, maybe. XD

the crazy (and fun) thing about the Bundesliga is that a whole lot of teams can be considered good/popular teams and that it changes all the time. I would not have predicted four years ago that Leverkusen would be getting a Champion's League spot, or Mainz to get a Europa League spot, or Werder to have brushed with relegation, or for no one to care about Stuttgart anymore, or for people to actually care about Schalke. XD

Except for Bayern, because we're trolls like that Rekordmeister and insanely rich by BuLi standards and thus no one will ever get rid of us. XP

yes! But Dortmund winning is totally nuts. They went nearly bankrupt, they were flirting with relegation a bit ago, their team is nearly entirely babies, etc. I am very happy they didn't choke. And that Hertha are back in the 1. Liga.
